Change!  What does it look like for you?  Does it just apply to our appearance, jobs, or government leadership?

When I hear or read the word change, immediately I think of my thinking...my thoughts...my attitude.  Why?  Because these things begin in the MIND!

I agree with Joyce Meyers (one of my favorite bible teachers and authors) when she says that the mind is a battlefield.  For it is in the mind that thoughts and decisions are initiated, struggled with and solidified.  So it only makes sense to me that in order for me to experience positive change (change can be negative), whether it be eating better, speaking less (those of you who know me get this point) or ridding myself (mind) of toxic people, things and situations, I must master my thoughts!  And the only guaranteed way to do that is by surrendering my mind to God.

So here is my challenge to you.  Everytime you get the urge to murmur, complain or wine about something you don't agree with, like and would like to see changed, first, be silent - close your mouth and quiet your mind, second, be still - get your mind focused and stop it from racing to and fro, third, surrender - turn the situation over to your heavenly Father who promises to handle it (Phillipians 4:6, NIV) and lastly, Give God Praise!

Do this for 30 days and see if God will not show up and out for you!

In proverbs 3:4-6 God says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and with all of your mind AND LEAN NOT into thine own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He WILL DIRECT (that includes change when necessary) your path."

And that's the Sho'Nuf Truth!
